Project overview

A second site. A better stay.

Millview Meadow Glamping sits beside the Norfolk Broads in Runham, near Great Yarmouth. We built its first website when the business launched in 2019, and in 2023 the owners asked for a redesign. The brief: put the information guests need on the home page, and let them book directly.

The challenge

Guests want answers. Then a booking.

Someone planning a short break wants to see the pods, know where they are, and check availability, without hunting through pages to do it.

The owners also wanted to market the site directly, which meant a booking page they could send campaigns to, and a way to keep telling guests what there is to do nearby.

The answers on the home page, and a booking a few clicks away.

The approach

The home page does the work.

  1. 01

    The key details, up front.

At the owners’ request, the home page carries the pod details, a gallery, a video tour, a location map, and practical FAQs.

  2. 02

    Direct booking.

A booking system lets guests check pod availability and book without leaving the site.

  3. 03

    A booking page for marketing.

A dedicated booking page gives the owners one place to send their marketing, and makes the results easier to track.

  4. 04

    Local attractions, as a blog.

A Local Attractions section, built as a blog, lets the owners keep adding things to do on the Broads.

  5. 05

    A refreshed look and logo.

The design and the logo were refreshed to match the modern style of the pods.

The outcome

Fewer clicks between looking and booking.

Guests can see the pods, the setting, and the answers to common questions on the home page, then check availability and book directly.

In her Google review, Kate Watts says: “We have been working with Ric since we first launched our glamping business in 2019 … He did a great job and we have been working with him ever since.”
