The Wellspring & Yew is a centre for conventional and complementary therapies, with a team of practitioners and a programme of workshops and events. The brief: a website that organises all of it, so a visitor can find the right therapy and the right person.

The challenge
A lot to offer. A lot to find.
The centre offers a wide range of therapies, delivered by practitioners who each work in their own way. Someone looking for help may not know which therapy they need, let alone which therapist.
Alongside the therapies, the centre runs group sessions, workshops, and professional development courses, which change through the year and need to be easy to promote.
Help a visitor find the right therapy, then the right person to give it.
The approach
Organised the way visitors look.

A guide to the therapies.
Every therapy has its place in a structured directory, so a visitor can browse what the centre offers before choosing.

A page for each practitioner.
Each therapist has their own profile, with room to explain their skills and how they work.

Events the centre can manage.
Workshops, group sessions, and courses sit in their own section, set up so the centre can add and promote them without a developer.

Calm by design.
A clean, quiet design that matches the atmosphere of the centre.
The project in view
The outcome
Easier to find. Easier to keep current.
Visitors can move from the therapies to the people who provide them, and see what is coming up in the events programme.
For the practitioners, the site doubles as a professional profile they can point their own clients to.
Tools and delivery
Built on familiar tools.

Built on WordPress with Divi, with separate content types for services, therapists, rooms, workshops, and events, so each is added and updated in its own place.
- Managed hosting
- UK servers with LiteSpeed caching. Daily backups with thirty-day restore points. Free SSL and security monitoring.
- Ongoing care
- Core and plugin updates handled. The first year of hosting included with the build.
