A single page website designed for a new property developer in Norfolk. The website was created with WordPress and includes a portfolio section, about us panel, contact form, and testimonials.
We were approached by MJ Prestige Property Developments to design and build a website for their new company. To make the most of their content we used a contemporary single page design, divided into sections that can be navigated via a floating menu at the top of the page.
At the top of the page is a hero image slider, with buttons linking to the service section and contact form. Its essential that visitors to the site understand what it is you do within the first couple of seconds. If its not obvious it visitors will tend to hit the back button and look elsewhere. We use images and text together to provide an unambiguous description of what the website is about.
The services section includes an icon panel describing the main servers provided. Under that is a tabbed panel for the companies portfolio of work. Each tab covers a specific trade, and contains photos of their work and descriptions of the jobs they have completed.
The about section includes a description of the business and introduces its owners. We also added a call out panel at the bottom to encourage people to call the company.
Having testimonials on your website is a well recognised way to increase the conversion rate. In this case that mean more people phone the company to enquire about their services.
To make it easy for people to contact the company we added a contact form at the bottom of the website. However, we also make sure that the phone numbers, email, and postal address are easily found across the website.
We use the websites footer to add any other information we think visitors might find useful. For example trade affiliations and qualifications. We also add the companies address and contact details as many visitors will look here first for that information.
