Single Page Website for The Brighton Bard
We had the pleasure of designing a single-page website for “The Brighton Bard,” a project by the talented Jonathan Bradshaw. This site was a unique endeavor, aimed at promoting his much-anticipated book. Notably, it also featured our bespoke graphic design work, adding a personal touch to the project.
The website features:
- Engaging Single-Page Layout: The design emphasizes simplicity and focus, ensuring visitors are captivated by the content without distractions.
- Graphic Design: Mirroring the book’s thematic elements, the graphics enrich the site’s visual storytelling.
- WordPress Platform: Utilizing WordPress, the site offers ease of management and flexibility, essential for dynamic content updates.
Jonathan sought a platform that not only highlighted his work but also resonated with his audience’s expectations. The goal was to create a digital space that echoed the book’s spirit and Jonathan’s vision.
Wins, Grins & Limbs
“Wins, Grins & Limbs” is a poetic and visual celebration of Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club’s historic 22/23 season, culminating in a record sixth-place finish and a first-ever qualification for European football. The book, narrated by @TheBrightonBard, an ex-season ticket holder and US-based Brit, offers a minute-by-minute account of all 46 matches through over 750 rhymes, accompanied by 275 official color photographs. It encapsulates the emotional highs and lows of the season, making it a must-read for fans, with £5 from each sale donated to the BHAFC Foundation.
